Built on loyalty, dedication, and heart

Welcome to Team Charleston, a premier travel basketball program based in Charleston, South Carolina. We are dedicated to developing young athletes through high-level competition, unwavering commitment, and a strong sense of family.

How Team Charleston was born

Our journey began when a dedicated group of young players unexpectedly found themselves without a team after their prior organization discontinued their division without notice. Instead of walking away, we united to create Team Charleston. We set out to prove that when players, coaches, and families stick together, they can overcome any obstacle on and off the court.

Athletes and families always come first

In an increasingly crowded travel sports landscape, Team Charleston stands apart through our core philosophy: we will always do what is right for the athlete and the family first. We focus on transparent communication, comprehensive player development, and creating a positive, supportive environment where every athlete feels valued and motivated to succeed.

Coaching with purpose and faith

Basketball is our classroom for lifelong character. Our guiding philosophy is simple and profound: if all things are done for His glory, we can't fail. We teach our athletes discipline, teamwork, humility, and perseverance so that they emerge as strong leaders both on the court and across the Charleston community.

"Team Charleston showed our kids what true commitment and brotherhood mean. They turned a tough situation into a life-changing opportunity, and our players have grown tremendously both as athletes and as young men."
